Dashboard

The dashboard is a place to visualize the passage of time on these planets. What you are seeing below is a list of clocks for each planet in our solar system. The second and minute hand function as you expect, and their position indicates time based on the outer ring of numbers. The hour hand is adjusted for the length of a day on that planet. It uses the inner ring of numbers. For example, you can see that Mercury has 4223.28 hours in a day. There is also a digital display of the time below each clock. They do not use AM or PM, just hours since midnight. The gradient shown on the clocks corresponds to day or night in the UTC time zone on that planet. So, when the hour hand is in the light section, it is day, and when it is in the dark section, it is night.
